She was known for her adult content and constantly got caught up in the midst of some controversy, which is also why she was a participant on Kangana Ranaut-hosted Lock Upp. The show brought in some of the most controversial figures and Poonam was one of them. The actress passed away on Thursday, February 1. She collapsed suddenly and was detected with cervical cancer. Strip comment

Poonam Pandey had declared that she would strip if India won World Cup in 2011. Even though India did win the match, Poonam did not strip. BCCI did not allow her to do so.

Leaked MMS

Poonam was seen in a bold video from the bathroom. She was seen dancing and singing in the shower. The video went viral on social media and had to be blocked.

Assault case against husband

Soon after, Poonam got married to Sam Bombay. In September 2020, just a few days after their wedding, the actress left everyone shocked by accusing him of assault. She filed an FIR against him in Goa, where they were on their honeymoon. Apart from assault, Poonam alleged Sam molested and blackmailed her.

Her arrest

Poonam herself got arrested during the lockdown period. She had walked out in Mumbai with her husband while there were rules that nobody was allowed to leave their houses. The Mumbai Police arrested the couple and when the news broke, they even faced the wrath of the netizens.

Pandey app

Poonam Pandey had launched her own app where she released photos and videos of her. The Pandey app was launched on Google playstore but had to be discontinued. Nonetheless, Poonam continued maintaining her website, where her subscribers could consume premium content.
