Before Khufiya was released on Netflix, Charlie Chopra and the Mystery of Solang Valley directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, premiered on SonyLIV. Both of them featured Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles. Interestingly, it was Richa Chadha who played the actor's onscreen mother in just one scene in the whodunnit thriller series. It's been nearly two weeks since the series was released, and there are yet many to discover that the Fukrey 3 actor has a pivotal part in it.

Richa Chadha's desire to work with Vishal Bhardwaj:

During an exclusive interaction with OTTplay, Richa was asked why not many people are talking about the series; she said that it's because she hasn't spoken about it. However, the actor shared that she desires to work with Bhardwaj on a full-fledged project. Richa told us, "I just want to work with him now; let's see what we could do together. I really liked what we did, and people seemed to be liking it; it's comic, it's cute, and it's with a child."

Richa Chadha's decision on series continuation:

Charlie Chopra and the Mystery of Solang Valley ends on a cliffhanger, hinting that Wamiqa's mother is still around. On being quizzed if she would like to be a part of the series if continued in the future, Richa refused and shared, "I don't think I will do that because it additionally requires a jump in timeline again of 15-20 years, and then I also have to do ageing, which I don't want to do again."

She added, "It's really not fun, and it really hampers your chances, especially in this very myopic business."

Richa played the onscreen mother to Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Viineet Kumar Singh in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur.

Currently, Richa is riding high on the success of her latest release, Fukrey 3 which has crossed the Rs. 76 crore mark at the domestic box office. Meanwhile, the actor is also gearing up for her wedding documentary with Ali Fazal, which is set to be released soon.
