Richa Chadha breaks silence on rumours of Inside Edge season 3 being scrapped

Amazon Prime Video recently revealed the logo of Inside Edge 3 in a poster, announcing that the series will be out soon. It stars Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadha, Sayani Gupta, Aamir Bashir, Tanuj Virwani, Sapna Pabbi, Amit Sial, Akshay Oberoi and Siddhant Chaturvedi in pivotal roles.

Last week, rumour mills had been busy churning that after the controversies that occurred post the release of The Family Man 2, the OTT giant was being extra cautious of their upcoming products and wanted the final outcome of Inside Edge season 3 to be changed.

Speaking about the same, Richa Chadha told SpotboyE that she doesn’t even remember reading about such reports. She also mentioned that she recently completed her final day of dubbing for Inside Edge 3. She added why would she pay attention to rumours when she was working on the set herself. ,

Richa also told the portal that at times she feels that some reporters need a scoop so badly that they end up taking information from the wrong sources. Explaining further, she shared that those on the set who don’t have access to the right kind of knowledge about the developments on the project, give out inaccurate information which is then used by various publications.

The portal further quoted her as saying that that there will be a lot of good conversations around the show closer to its release and that whatever they learnt from the previous two seasons, got furthered in the third season of Inside Edge. Speaking about her experience of working with Excel Entertainment and Amazon, the actress said that the makers won’t okay a product they cannot get behind.

Inside Edge is India’s first Amazon Original web series that revolves around the dark side of the cricket world that centres on a fictional T20 cricket team, Mumbai Mavericks and its owners, who are involved in match-fixing and are responsible for unfair sports politics. The release date of the third instalment of the series hasn’t been announced yet. ,
