Even though Malayalam cinema has produced many comedy duos over the years, there are a few names whom the audiences hold close to their hearts. Some of their scenes continue to tickle the funny bones of many even today.

From the iconic duo Mohanlal-Sreenivasan to the new generation Nivin Pauly-Aju Varghese, the industry has many funny duos entertaining audiences. Let’s revisit some of the evergreen duos who are assets to the Malayalam film world.

Mohanlal-Sreenivasan

It is hard to find a Malayali who isn’t used to the dialogue “Ellathinum athintethaya samayam undu Dasa” even for once in their life. The line stays evergreen due to the outstanding chemistry between the iconic duo Mohanlal and Sreenivasan, and it is from their iconic movie Nadodikattu. Dileep - Harisree Ashokan

Ramanan and Unnikrishnan's combo from the movie Punjabi house has a separate fanbase even now, with actors Harisree Ashokan and Dileep displaying terrific on-screen chemistry. Nivin Pauly - Aju Varghese

The new generation comedy duo Nivin-Aju made their name in the industry within a short span of time with their chemistry in Thattathin Marayathu and Oru Vadakkan Selfie.
