Revealed: Run-time of Sriimurali’s action drama Bagheera trailer

When society becomes a jungle, and only one predator roars for justice – that was the tagline of the teaser of Roaring Star Sriimurali’s Bagheera, which came a while ago, as it introduced audiences to the actor in cop mode and as the crime-fighting vigilante, Bagheera. Now, more than 10 months later, the film is set for its October 31 theatrical release, ahead of which, the makers will give audiences yet another sneak peek into the world of Bagheera, with the trailer on October 21.

Production house Hombale Films will release the trailer on its official YouTube page at 9.36 am on October 21. While the teaser was just under a minute a half, the trailer almost doubles that run-time. At 2 minutes and 40 minutes, it is expected to shed more light on what to expect from Bagheera, as well as leading lady Rukmini Vasanth’s role, among others.

Bagheera is a film that Sriimurali’s given three years to. “When you watch the trailer, the feeling that you are likely to get is, ‘I can’t wait to watch the film’. Bagheera is releasing on October 31, so you will be in theatres in only 10 days after the trailer. I believe the trailer is fantastic and I am waiting to see what audiences make of it. Honestly, I have nervous excitement now; anxious about audience reception, but also confident that we have tried to do something unique,” says the actor.

Bagheera, meanwhile, is based on a story by Prashant Neel, who made Ugramm with Sriimurali earlier. The director-actor duo were to collaborate on another film, but Prashant’s busy schedule prevented that from happening, so, Lucky maker Dr Suri was entrusted with the responsibility. Music is by Ajaneesh Loknath and the first single, the anthem of justice, Rudhira Dhaara, has been well received.
