Tiger Nageswara Rao is Ravi Teja's biggest release of his career. The film is out in the open and has started with mixed word of mouth. The film is quite special as it also marks the comeback of Pawan Kalyan's ex-wife Renu Desai to Telugu cinema after a long gap.

But one topic that caught the imagination of one and all is when Renu revealed how she missed out on a chance to act in a Mahesh Babu film. Going into details, Renu said that she was the first choice to play Nadia's government officer role in Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Pata and she also okayed the offer.
Renu adds that at the last minute, she was replaced and Nadia joined the cast. The popular actress says she wants to reveal the reason why she was sidelined but if she does so, she will have to face a lot of controversies in her career and it is not good for her at this moment in time and has kept quiet..
Ever since she made this statement, gossip has erupted as to why Renu Desai was sidelined from the film. Some say that it was Mahesh Babu who said no to her and the others say, it was Trivikram who changed things at the last minute.
