Release of Prithviraj’s Kaduva temporarily stayed by Kerala court

Prithviraj’s upcoming period action movie Kaduva which is directed by Shaji Kailas is a highly anticipated Malayalam movie. The latest news about Kaduva is that the Kerala court temporarily stays the release of the movie.

The Second Additional Sub Judge of Ernakulam has issued an ad interim injunction in a suit challenging the release of the prithviraj movie restraining the respondents from publishing the movie until further orders.

The complaint was filed by Jose Kuruvinalkunnel, claiming that the role essayed by Prithviraj in the movie called Kaduvakunnel Kuruvachan is based on his life and the story is based on his own life story.

He also said that there are scenes in the movie that will be taken out of context of his life and character and might turn him into a man with no respect for the law, perhaps nothing short of a local thug.

Kaduva which is directed by Shaji Kailas, is written by Jinu V. Abraham, and has Vivek Oberoi playing the main antagonist. The movie also stars Samyuktha Menon, Siddique, Seema, Vijayaraghavan, Saikumar and Arjun Ashokan among others.

While Abinandhan Ramanujam is the cinematographer for the movie, Shameer Muhammed edits the movie and will have music composed by Jakes Bejoy. The movie is bankrolled by Supriya Menon under the banner Prithviraj Productions and Listin Stephern’s Magic Frames is the distributor.
