Rekhachithram trailer: The 2-minute trailer offers a glimpse of the gripping and intense plot, with Anaswara Rajan's character cloaked in mystery and Asif Ali hell-bent on finding the truth.
Asif Ali in Rekhachithram
After the phenomenal success of Kishkindha Kaandam Asif Ali is back with another thriller – Rekhachithram, which also stars Anaswara Rajan. After teasing audiences with a moody poster and a teaser, the makers have released the official trailer of Rekhachithram. Asif Ali plays a cop in the film, directed by Jofin T Chacko.
The 2-minute trailer begins with an injured person stumbling through the woods. We then see a corpse and the cops, including Asif Ali, making inquiries about what kind of person he was. The reply says someone who is not content with whatever he gets in life.
Another person talks about burying something, followed by a startling find of a skull. We see glimpses of Manoj K Jayan, who appears to be playing a politician, while Pauly Valsan’s character gives out intriguing leads to the cop. Yet another corpse is found hanging from the tree as the police continue to scout for evidence.
Indrans too seems to be playing yet another hardened person, like most of his recent outings, a far cry from the comedy roles he had aced in the past.
Then the trailer introduces Anaswara Rajan's character, with references being made to her being an actress. Her character seems to be shrouded in mystery as she is also seen in the outfit of a nun. We see glimpses of a convent setting and another nun asking – ‘Who is she?’
Asif Ali then says she leaves a trail of dead bodies in her wake. As the trailer shows his character involved in an accident, Asif says that he could be the one who would drop dead next. The trailer shows scenes of a shooting location as Asif’s character says he is waiting to know the truth.
All in all, the trailer offers a glimpse of the gripping and intense plot, with Anaswara Rajan's character cloaked in mystery and Asif Ali hell-bent on finding the truth. Rekhachithram, starring Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan, is set to release in theatres on January 9, 2025.
