Synopsis: Amazon Prime Video's lineup for this year includes Made in Heaven 2 which stars Arjun Mathur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kalki Koechlin, and Jim Sarbh, and Dahaad, starring Sonakshi Sinha.
Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment's series 'Made In Heaven 2' and feature film 'Dahaad' were unveiled as part of Amazon Prime Video's forthcoming line-up of projects earlier today during the ‘See Where It Takes You’ event in Mumbai. Reema Kagti represented Tiger Baby, which is also co-founded by Zoya Akhtar, at the event, hosted by Karan Johar.
Set against the backdrop of extravagant Indian weddings, 'Made in Heaven 2’, starring Arjun Mathur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kalki Koechlin, and Jim Sarbh, among others, is apparently set to sail globally this season.
On the other hand, 'Dahaad’, starring Vijay Verma, Sohum Shah, Sonakshi Sinha, and Gulshan Devaiah, is directed by Reema Kagti, who has established a space for herself with her own cinematic vision.
It's a big day for the Tiger Baby team, according to Reema Kagti, because two of their co-productions, Made in Heaven 2 and Dahaad, were unveiled today by the streaming platform, Amazon Prime Video. Zoya Akhtar was unable to attend the event since she was in the middle of filming for yet another project, The Archies. They've had a fantastic time writing, shooting, and producing the projects, and they're excited to see them released, said Kagti during the event.
Zoya Akhtar was busy with the production of 'The Archies’, which is the first standalone feature by Akhtar and Reema as producers. Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda are all said to make their Bollywood debuts with The Archies. Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan's brother, was also linked to the project, although nothing has been officially announced yet.
Made in Heaven 2, Jee Le Zara, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, and Dahaad are among the films on Tiger Baby's and Excel Entertainment's upcoming roster, in addition to The Archies, a live-action musical, directed by Zoya Akhtar. While Jee Le Zara stars Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan features Ananya Panday, Adarsh Gourav and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Amazon Prime Video unveiled 41 titles that it will release this year. The titles include Shahid Kapoor’s OTT debut Farzi with Vijay Sethupati, Naga Chaitanya’s OTT debut series, titled Dhootha.
