The latest comedy-heist flick, also starring Gal Gadot, has currently clocked around 277.9 million hours of viewing on the digital platform
Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot are currently basking in the glory of the success of their film Red Notice. Although the film has been receiving negative reviews from critics, the movie went on to become one of the most-streamed ones on Netflix. Unfortunately, that position has now reportedly been taken over by the Halle Berry starrer Bruised.
Red Notice was able to garner around 277.9 million hours of viewing on the digital platform, according to a Koimoi report, and was close to overtaking Sandra Bullock’s Bird Box as the most viewed movie globally. Bird Box was able to acquire 282 million hours of viewing on Netflix and is currently in the top position. But will Bruised be able to surpass the viewing time of Bird Box is yet to be seen.
Talking about Bruised, the latest sports drama talks of a disgraced MMA fighter who returns to the boxing ring to conquer her demons for the sake of her estranged son. This features Halle Berry in an unrecognisable avatar as a boxer who is being lauded for her performance in the movie.
Meanwhile, Red Notice earlier made news for its massive budget of $200 million where each of the stars was paid a whopping sum of $20 million. The movie talks of a reluctant partnership of an FBI agent (Johnson) and an art thief (Reynolds) to take down a notorious criminal (Gadot). The movie also marks the third-time collaboration of its director Rawson Marshall Thurber and Dwayne Johnson following Central Intelligence and Skyscraper.
If missed out, don’t forget to catch Red Notice streaming on Netflix and let us know your views.
