The film exhibits a group of brave rebels who travel through space, join hands to fight against the bad and mean rulers of the huge Motherworld empire. Even though everything seems impossible, they won't give up trying.

The main character of Rebel Moon is Kora, who saw terrible things as a child. Soldiers from a powerful empire killed her family and broke her homeworld. She lost everything she loved. After that, a cruel leader named Regent Belisarius took her in and raised her like his own daughter. It was a strange and difficult new life for her. The character is played by Sofia Boutella, who is famous for The Mummy, Atomic Blonde, Street Dancer 2, Settlers, etc.
Rebel Moon: Part One - A Child of Fire release date
Rebel Moon: Part One – A Child of Fire will make its grand premiere on Netflix on December 21 at 7pm PT, and on December 22, 2023 in other countries. Rebel Moon: Part Two – The Scargiver is scheduled to release on April 19, 2024 on Netflix.
