Reacher Season 2, starring Alan Ritchson as the eponymous ex-army investigator, is finally here with its first three episodes. And fans cannot keep their calm.
Reacher is a beloved Prime Original show that began its journey back in 2022. Based on Lee Child’s debut novel Killing Floor, the series followed the story of an ex-U.S. Army investigator, Jack Reacher, with immense experience in combat and detective work. However, due to certain incidents, which are revealed later in the show, he leads a nomadic life, moving from place to place.
Suddenly, he chances upon a town where he discovers his brother’s recent murder as well as a massive shady counterfeit currency conspiracy. In the span of a few days, Jack Reacher sent hordes of mercenaries to hell, avenged his brother’s death, and helped a fellow co-worker-with-benefits regain her standing, which she had lost while collaborating with Reacher in his eradicating process of the town’s corruption.
Season 2 sees several new twists with the introduction of an old flame Karla Dixon (Serinda Swan), who is a forensic accountant formerly mentored by Reacher himself. The members of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations, are being murdered in this season.

Season 2 of Reacher dropped in on December 15, 2023, ending the agony of the show’s fans. And it has not been a disappointment. Fans of the show have been counting down until the moment they can finally binge on the new episodes.
But there’s a catch. Only the first three episodes of Reacher’s second season will be premiering, with the rest of the episodes dropping in weekly till mid-January 2024.
However, good things come to those who wait as evident from the first reaction of fans, who have already streamed the new season, on X (formerly Twitter).
