RDX filmmaker Nahas Hidayath reveals if he is all set to helm Aadujeevitham star Prithviraj Sukumaran for his sophomore directorial
Post the release of Aadujeevitham, the spotlight is now on Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran’s upcoming projects. In his recent interviews, apart from Bade Miyan Chotte Miyan, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil and Salaar: Part 2 – Shourangya Parvam, the actor has already announced some interesting collaborations, including a movie with Thallumaala filmmaker Khalid Rahman. The latest we hear is that he is all set to team up with RDX director Nahas Hidayath for a film that is set to go on floors soon.
According to rumours, the movie is an action entertainer which also has romance elements. OTTplay got in touch with Nahas to know if such a project is in the pipeline.

Nahas, who was initially set to work with Antony Varghese in a movie called Aaravam that was shelved due to the COVID-19 pandemic, tells us, “I haven’t confirmed anything about my next project.” Even on the genre of an action entertainer, the director says, “I am working on the script of my next film but it doesn’t belong to this genre.”
There are reports that Nahas will indeed be teaming up with the producers of RDX, Weekend Blockbusters, for his next movie too. The film will be the ninth production of the team, which had earlier backed superhits such as Bangalore Days and Minnal Murali. Their ongoing film has Antony Varghese and Raj B Shetty as part of the cast. The movie is expected to clash with Prithviraj’s Vilayath Buddha, Tovino Thomas’ Identity and Mammootty’s Bazooka during the Onam season.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj has currently wrapped up with shoot of his next Malayalam release – Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, which is helmed by Vipin Das and has Basil Joseph, Nikhila Vimal and Anaswara Rajan as part of its cast. The movie is set to hit theatres in May. The actor is also expected to resume shooting for his directorial Empuraan in Chennai in a few days. The much-anticipated film, which will be a 2025 release, has two more schedules left – one in UAE and in another country.
