Tiger Nageswara Rao first look: Shiva Rajkumar to lend his voice for upcoming teaser
Fans of Telugu superstar Ravi Teja are keenly looking forward to his next release Tiger Nageswara Rao. The 55-year-old is set to essay the highly infamous real-life burglar Stuartpuram Nageswara Rao in a period film written and directed by Vamsee. Scheduled to release later this year on October 20, Tiger Nageswara has created quite the buzz for itself, owing to the enterprising storyline and a larger-than-life canvas that the Telugu Film Industry is well-known for.
The makers of the pan-India film (set to release in 5 different languages including Telugu) have promised to unveil the first look on May 24. And it turns out that the much-awaited first glimpse will be offered in a video teaser format and Kannada moviegoers would be super thrillers to know that Karunada Chakravarthy Shiva Rajkumar will do the honours of introducing Tiger Nageswara Rao to the world. Shivanna, as he is fondly referred to by the people of Karnataka, will lend his voice to the Kannada first-look teaser of Tiger Nageswara Rao and the team took to social media very recently to thank the Ghost actor for his support.
A small behind-the-scene video, too, was shared which reveals Shivanna meeting with director Vamsee, going over the voiceover script for the upcoming intro teaser and also speaking to Ravi Teja (believably) over the phone to share his thoughts about the film.
Tiger Nageswara Rao, produced by Abhishek Agarwal (The Kashmir Files, Karthikeya 2), is set in the 1970s and will chronicle the life and many escapades of 'Stuartpuram' Nageswara Rao, a highly skilled and equally notorious thief who found fame for giving the authorities the slip on a number of occasions. In fact, he is said to have earned the moniker Tiger after he managed to escape the Chennai jail. In his previous interviews, director Vamsee has described his vision as a 'biopic' that will not only focus on Tiger's famed thievery but also the unknown humane side which saw him extend help & support to the poor.
Nupur Sanon and Gayathri Bharadwaj star in the film as the female leads with Anupam Kher, Jisshu Sengupta and others, too, as part of the cast. G.V. Prakash Kumar will be scoring the film's music.
