There comes a time in everyone’s careers where one needs to reinvent themselves and explore newer horizons. Ravi Teja needs that change in his career now, more than ever before. With his next release Ramarao on Duty (to release on July 29), written and directed by Sarath Mandava, he’s confident about turning a new page in his filmography. The film’s pre-release event was held on Sunday.

“I’ve worked with a new set of technicians in this film. Art director Sahi Suresh did a commendable job of recreating the mid 90s backdrop. The film had great scope for good music and Sam CS made a very good beginning to his Telugu career. Right when Sarath narrated me the story, we wanted to rope in cinematographer Sathyan Soori, his work in Kaithi and Vikram Vedha was fabulous. I would love to work with him again soon,” Ravi Teja said.

“Award-winning editor Prawin Pudi has worked on the film and his credibility needs no introduction. He’s also working on my next film Tiger Nageswara Rao. The producers Srikanth Chundi and Sudhakar Cherukuri are very comfortable to work with. I and Sudhakar have been friends for long. It was lovely to team up with the heroines Rajisha Vijayan and Divyansha Kaushik. Anveshi Jain was sizzling in Naa Peru Seesa,” he added.

He also thanked stunt choreographers Anbariv, Kevin and Steven for their contributions and wished actor Venu on his on-screen comeback. “I am happy to see Venu back in action. I was supposed to act with him in Swayamvaram. I hope doesn’t take a break further. The film has come out very well and I haven’t done a character like this before. Ramarao on Duty won’t feel like Sarath Mandava’s first film. We’ll talk more about him after July 29.”

Ravi Teja praised the event’s chief guest Nani to the skies, calling him a sensible actor and one of the finest talents in South Indian cinema. Produced under Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, Ramarao on Duty releases on July 29 across the globe.
