Ravi Teja-Gopichand Malineni film: This out of form heroine to play the female lead | Exclusive

Despite the hit-or-flop status, Tiger Nageswara Rao star Ravi Teja is signing multiple films and has now close to four films on the floors. We at OTTplay have already reported that Ravi Teja will soon team up with star director Gopichand Malineni, whom he had introduced to Don Seenu in the past. Well, the project has started, and casting is being done as of now.

The makers have now approached young heroine Krithi Shetty to play the lead. We have also come to know that the talks are at a final stage, and very soon Krithi will sign the dotted line. If Krithi Shetty comes on board, this will be the first time that she will be sharing the screen space with Ravi Teja, and it will be a huge opportunity for her.

The other day, the makers revealed that Tamil director turned actor Selvaraghavan has been roped in to play a key role in the film. Going back in time, we also revealed that Rashmika Mandanna is in talks and has been almost finalised as the female lead. But as per the update, she is not doing the film anymore.

Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of Pushpa, will helm this film. Apart from Krithi, Gopichand Malineni has also roped in Varalakhsmi Sarathkumar for one of the key roles. Thaman, who composed the music for Gopichand's last two films, has also been roped in.

As per the news, the film is about a rift between the Dalit community and the upper cast way back in 1990 in Andhra Pradesh. Based on true events, Gopichand Malineni has designed a masala flick. Shooting starts soon.
