‘Mass Maharaja’ Ravi Teja shows no signs of turning down any film. The Telugu superstar has been consistently signing new film projects, and the latest news is that he's given the greenlight for two more upcoming films.
Ravi Teja signs new film with Anil Ravipudi
Latest reports suggest that Ravi Teja has expressed interest in collaborating with popular director Anil Ravipudi for a hilarious comedy. The director's last film Bhagavanth Kesari with Nandamuri Balakrishna graced the silver screens this Dussehra.
Interestingly, the actor-director duo had previously worked in the commercially successful film Raja The Great. Anil Ravipudi, who’s recent success Bhagavanth Kesari has been receiving praise for its direction and performances, is yet to announce his next project. If all goes as planned, the new project starring Ravi Teja is expected to start rolling in mid 2024.
In the meantime, Ravi Teja is gearing up to begin shooting for his upcoming film, directed by Gopichand Malineni, that has been tentatively titled RT4GM. Additionally, the Telugu star also has an action-packed drama titled Eagle set for release soon.
Nageswara Rao manages to attain commercial success despite competition
Ravi Teja’s Dussehra release Tiger Nageswara Rao has been maintaining an above average performance at the box office. However, there hasn't been a noticeable increase in its earnings due to Vijay's Leo and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari racing ahead in collections. According to trade reports, Tiger Nageswara Rao has crossed the Rs 50 crore net mark in domestic box office collections.
The film performed decently on its first 11 days at the box office and earned ₹ 34.74 Cr India net. The action drama has earned 0.60 Cr total on its twelfth day for all languages.
