Ravi Teja, after twin setbacks like Khiladi and Ramarao on Duty, is returning with a mass entertainer again - Dhamaka, directed by Nenu Local, Cinema Choopista Mama maker Trinadha Rao Nakkina. Sreeleela, who debuted with Gowri Ronanki's Pelli SandaD last year, is cast as the female lead in the film. The actioner is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory in collaboration with Abhishek Aggarwal Arts. The first single of the film, Jinthaak, was launched today.

Bheems Ceciroleo, who scored the music for Ravi Teja's Bengal Tiger before, is the composer for Dhamaka. Jinthaak, sung by Mangli, Bheems and lyricised by Kasarla Shyam, is just the energetic dance number you would spot in a quintessential Ravi Teja film. Shot largely in Spain, the number is about a woman who is completely smitten by the man of her dreams. The two dream of their future together, enjoying each other's company and the song is full of joi de vivre and energy.

Sreeleela's spirited dance moves are a major highlight of the number with a folksy twist. The lyrical video suggests Ravi Teja and the actress had a blast shaking a leg to this massy song. Kasarla Shyam's experience with folk and dance numbers is well known and his catchy lines add glitz to the number. Dhamaka, going by the promotional campaign, is likely to release in September. Prasanna Kumar Bezawada has come up with the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film.

Karthik Gattamneni, who edited and cinematographed Karthikeya 2, has cranked the camera for this film as well. Srinagendra Tangala is the production designer while action director duo Ram-Lakshman has choreographed the stunts. Vivek Kuchibhotla is the co-producer. Ravi Teja, after Dhamaka, will be seen in the courtroom drama Ravanasura, which is also expected to release in 2022. He'll make his presence felt in a pan-Indian film Tiger Nageswara Rao and also star in a special role for Chiranjeevi's next with director Bobby.
