Raveena Tandon recently spoke about her current equation with Akshay Kumar. The actress has reunited with him for a comic caper, Welcome to the Jungle.

Raveena Tandon has been in the Hindi film industry for over three decades now. She's known for delivering some successful projects in her career. Back in the 90s, Tandon also made headlines because of her relationship with Akshay Kumar. Unfortunately, they called it quits and moved on. Cut to now, Raveena and Akshay are on cordial terms. In an interview with Filmfare, the actress spoke about her present-day bond with Kumar.

While interacting with a leading magazine, Raveena Tandon spilled beans about her current equation with Akshay Kumar. "Everyone’s good now. We are all happy in our lives. We share a very good bond and we’ve known each other for a very long time. So yeah, all good and happy," she said.

The actress further recalled an interesting anecdote from the set of Dawaa, a film she did with Akshay. Raveena reminisced about shooting a song Dil Mein Hai Tu in Goa. "So I went to the Goan flea markets to accessorise looks. His and mine both. I would style outfits for both of us. Those were the simpler days of cinema," added Tandon.

Raveena reunites with Akshay for Welcome to the Jungle

A few months ago, Raveena spoke about reuniting with Akshay for a film. They will be seen in Ahmed Khan's comic caper Welcome to the Jungle, which boasts an ensemble star cast. In an interview with ANI, the actress said she and Akshay delivered many successful films together. Raveena was looking forward to the shoot of the comic caper as she was reuniting with Kumar on screen after many years.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Tandon recently featured in Binoy Gandhi's Ghuchadhi. It premiered on JioCinema on August 9. The actress shared screen space with Sanjay Dutt, Parth Samthaan, and Khushalii Kumar in the romantic comedy. As for Akshay, he is gearing up for the release of Mudassar Aziz's film Khel Khel Mein. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 15, 2024.
