Sudheer Varma is directing the film which will hit the screens later this year,
Ravi Teja in Ravanasura
Ravi Teja, who has had two releases this year, Khiladi and Ramarao On Duty, began shooting for the climax portion of his forthcoming project Ravanasura. The action thriller brings the actor and director Sudheer Varma for the first time.
According to a source, the action scene which is currently being shot for the climax scene is happening in a huge set worth 5 crores in Hyderabad. Art director DRK Kiran, who is known for a few notable works in Tamil movies, has been roped in to helm production designing of the movie.
Abhishek Nama’s Abhishek Pictures and Ravi Teja's RT Teamworks are jointly bankrolling the project which has Sushanth essaying a significant character in it. Ravanasura has multiple female leads like Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar and Poojitha Ponnada.
Stun Siva, who composed impressive fight scenes in Ravi Teja's Krack which was released last year, is on board as the film's action choreographer. The posters of the movie featuring the Mass Maharaja in a stylish avatar were instantly lapped by film buffs. The actor will be seen essaying the role of a lawyer in the project.
Srikanth Vissa has penned the story for Ravanasura which has music composed by Harshavardhan Rameswar and Bheems together. Vijay Kartik Kannan has handled the cinematography while Srikanth is in charge of editing. Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj and Jaya Prakash among others play key roles in the movie.
Ravi Teja's Khiladi and Ramarao On Duty had opened to mixed reviews and tanked at the box office. All eyes are now on Ravanasura; Tollywood film lovers hope that the movie will be the much-needed hit for the star. The movie is expected to release later this year.
