Raththam, starring Vijay Antony in the lead role, is generating a lot of buzz as it gears up for its theatrical release on October 6. The upcoming crime drama is a complex web of political and criminal connections, and a recent sneak peek video offers a captivating glimpse into the film's gripping narrative.

Helmed by acclaimed writer-director CS Amudhan, known for his work in the successful Thamizh Padam franchise (2010, 2018), the film is produced by Infinity Film Ventures.

The film has talented female leads with Mahima Nambiar, Nandita Swetha, and Ramya Nambeesan. Raththam boasts an impressive technical crew, with Kannan Narayanan composing the music, Gopi Amarnath handling cinematography, Dhilip Subbarayan choreographing action stunts, Senthil Raghavan overseeing the art direction, Shimona Stalin in charge of costume design, and T.S. Suresh as the editor.

The creative minds behind Raththam include the writing team comprising Athisha, Karkibava, and Thozhar Aathi. The lyrics are penned by celebrated lyricists such as Yuga Bharathi, Arivu, Uma Devi, and K. Chandru.

Raththam will also be released in Telugu

In an attempt to reach wider audiences, Raththam will also have a dubbed release in Telugu, featuring dialogue and lyrics written by Bashashree. As the release date approaches, fans of Vijay Antony can hardly contain their excitement, eager to witness the intriguing story of Raththam unfold on the big screen.

Vijay's daughter Meera commits suicide

Vijay's 16-year-old daughter, Meera, committed suicide a few days ago. This caused great shock and sadness in the film industry.

Meera was studying at a popular private school in Chennai. It is said that she committed suicide in her father's bedroom on September 19. Her body was sent for a post-mortem at Chennai's Omandurar Hospital. It is said that Meera was suffering from depression, which may have been the reason behind her suicide.
