The latest is Amitabh Bachchan, who shared a heartfelt note along with a beautiful picture of himself with Tata, expressing how fortunate he was to work with the icon. Amitabh Bachchan Pays Tribute to Ratan Tata

Amitabh Bachchan took to Instagram to share a picture of himself with Ratan Tata, expressing his grief. “An era has just passed away... his humility, his great resolve, his vision, and his determination to accomplish the very best for the Nation, ever a pride... it was my greatest honour to have had the opportunity and privilege to work together towards common humanitarian causes... A very sad day... my prayers.”

In 2004, industrialist and philanthropist Ratan Tata produced a romantic psychological thriller, which happens to be the only film he ever produced in his entire career. The movie, titled Aetbaar starred Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role, alongside John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, Tata co-produced the film with Jatin Kumar. The association between him and Big B goes beyond this film, as they have also collaborated on numerous humanitarian projects over the years.

Ratan Tata was reportedly admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after his blood pressure dropped drastically on October 9, 2024. He was being treated at the hospital, where he breathed his last. The announcement of his passing, made late last night, shook the nation. Tata, often referred to as the "most humble billionaire," inspired not only Indians but also people around the world to be better versions of themselves. His optimism and philanthropic work have always been admired and praised.

This loss is deeply personal for all who were inspired by his legacy. His mortal remains have been kept in the city for the public to pay their final respects. The last rites will be performed soon.
