Rashmika Mandanna's deepfake recently went viral on social media. The video featuring a woman with Rashmika's face while entering a lift has created a stir on the Internet. The clip was unverified until X user confirmed that it was the Pushpa actress' deepfake video. As soon as Amitabh Bachchan noticed the same, the megastar demanded a legal action to be taken.

X user shared the viral deepfake video of Rashmika and penned, "There is an urgent need for a legal and regulatory framework to deal with deepfake in India. You might have seen this viral video of actress Rashmika Mandanna on Instagram. But wait, this is a deepfake video of Zara Patel (sic)."

Amitabh, Rashmika's past collaboration
For those who are unaware, Rashmika made her Bollywood debut with Goodbye. The actress played the role of Sr Bachchan's daughter in the film, which also starred Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Sunil Grover, and others. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the movie hit the big screen on October 7, 2022.
What's next for Rashmika?
On the work front, Rashmika will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal. The actress will share screen space with Ranbir Kapoor for the first time. The movie also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles. Anima l is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 1, 2023.
Post that, the actress will be seen in Pushpa 2 with her co-star Allu Arjun.
