Abhishek Banerjee, who plays a prominent role in Taapsee Pannu starrer Rashmi Rocket says he never likes to memorise his lines and prefers to be in the moment. However, this sports drama has changed his process as it involved remembering several technical information.

Banerjee plays the role of a human rights lawyer Eeshit in the film. Speaking to indianexpress.com, the actor said, " I realised there’s a fair bit of performance in front of the judge with every lawyer. It was very important to find that balance – a well rehearsed lawyer, but he shouldn’t look like a rehearsed actor.”

The actor will see fighting the case of Tapsee Pannu's character who is forced to undergo gender testing by India’s athletics association. He joked that this is the most educated character he has played so far. He added that he was so involved in the character that he actually got angry. "I remember just to perform those three pages in front of a featured cast sitting as an audience in the courtroom, and with three cameras, a judge… that entire experience was overwhelming," he told the portal.

Taapsee Pannu was also trolled for looking masculine before the launch of the trailer. Talking about it, the actor said he was shocked and actually thought it was a promotional pitch. "It was amusing to see that the troll or comments were exactly what the film was about. Eeshit had to fight the system. But it is actually the people we have to fight against. It’s that basic,” he said.

The film directed by Akarsh Khurana will release on Zee5 on October 15.
