It is often said that where there is a will, there is a way! Clearly, the hope of solving rapper Tupac Shakur’s murder case has not diminished yet. In the latest development, Las Vegas Police have reportedly arrested one suspect in connection with the case.

What’s in the news today?

On Friday morning, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested a man over the rapper’s death. However, the identity of the man remains a mystery. This development has been confirmed by the news agency ‘AFP’ based on its sources.

A report published in ABC News and BBC further claims that “charges on the suspect would be announced soon.”

Forbes – a news outlet, claims that the man is identified as Duane “Keffe D” Davis.

The man has been arrested just two months after the residence of Davis’ wife was reportedly searched and investigated by the police.

In 1996, Tupac Shakur, the iconic hip-hop legend, fell victim to a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas sustaining four gunshot wounds. His assailant's identity has since remained a perplexing mystery. Shakur, a mere 25 years old at the time, succumbed to his injuries on September 13, 1996—just a week after the fateful attack at a red light. As one of hip-hop's most celebrated figures, his untimely demise has spurred numerous documentaries exploring the circumstances surrounding his death. With chart-topping hits like "California Love," "All Eyez On Me," and "Changes," Shakur left an indelible mark, having sold over 75 million records globally.
