Back in 2018, Ranveer Singh became iconic in his role of Alaudin Khilji. He immortalized the character by playing the antagonist in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. Co-incidentally, it was his last movie with Deepika Padukone as the female lead and with Sanjay Leela Bhansali as the director.

Deepika and Ranveer first collaborated with SLB on Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela. This was followed by Bajirao Mastani. Both the movies are just as loved at made it to the top 10 most loved Ranveer Singh starring films list unveiled by Ormax Media.

See the list here:

While Padmaavat is the most loved film, Bajirao Mastani takes the second spot. Ram-Leela, which released in 2014, is the seventh most loved. Both Bajirao Mastani and Ram-Leela were titles adapted from the lead character names.

Ranveer also made a noise with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. It wasn’t a movie but a movement when it released in 2019.

Not just that, another Ranveer-Zoya collaboration made it to the list. The film is Dil Dhadakne Do, where Ranveer played a rebel with a cause. The movie was iconic in many ways and is the eighth most loved on the list.

Ranveer collaborated with Rohit Shetty for the first time with Simmba. The film, which marked Sara Ali Khan’s second Bollywood debut after Kedarnath, did quite well at the Box Office and was the beginning of Rohit Shetty cop universe.

More recently, Ranveer embodied cricket legend Kapil Dev for Kabir Khan’s film, 83. While the movie did not work well at the Box Office because it released right in the midst of the pandemic, 83 did really well on OTT.

Ranveer’s debut film Band Baaja Baaraat continues to remain one of his most iconic roles. It is the sixth most loved, bread pakode ki qasam.

The actor’s underrated film Lootera remains the 10th most loved. The movie proved his worth as an actor and many still love going back to this one. Meanwhile, Gunday, which was an out-and-out commercial film with Ranveer-Arjun Kapoor’s bromance, is the ninth most loved.

Now that Ranveer’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar, is up for release, do you think it can replace any of these films and be among top 10? Do let us know.
