Ranveer Singh.
One of Bollywood’s most beloved actors Ranveer Singh has been roped in to present a new show called ‘The Big Picture’. With the show, Ranveer makes his Television debut, more so as a show host.
Before Ranveer, Amitabh Bachchan had made his Television debut with a game show - Kaun Banega Crorepati, which is better known as KBC. The show helped the megastar revive his career and through the years, he has become the face of the Television show.
Ranveer is attempting something similar with ‘The Big Picture’, which also has the ‘crorepati’ concept. In The Big Picture, Ranveer will present a photograph and ask a question related to the photo. If the contestants can answer the question, they could become millionaires.
While KBC tests general knowledge with limited imagery involved, The Big Picture will solely focus on questions via the image.
The Big Picture will air on Colors TV soon. Simultaneously, the show will release on its OTT platform Voot.
On the work front, Ranveer was last seen in Gully Boy, which released in 2019. The actor has been awaiting the release of two of his films - Sooryavanshi and 83 - both of which were aiming for a theatrical release.
The films which were slated to release in 2020 had to be pushed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and the first and second wave that came along with it.
Apart from them, Ranveer also has Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Cirkus in his kitty. While Jayeshbhai is under post-production, Cirkus is yet to be filmed.
