Lara Dutta and Jimmy Shergill's web series Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond is all set to stream on JioCinema. While the makers released Ranneeti's teaser earlier they have now dropped the official trailer for the series. Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond will shed light on India's largest defence operation. This series gives an insight into all the behind-the-scenes things that happen in modern warfare. The trailer is a mere glimpse of what Santosh Singh's intriguing war drama has to offer.
JioCinema shared the official trailer for Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond on its Instagram handle. While sharing the same on Instagram, the streaming platform wrote, "The story you know. The war you don’t. Witness India’s historic tale of modern warfare. Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond- trailer out now! (sic)." If you haven't seen the trailer yet, check it out right below:
In an official statement, Jimmy Shergill revealed that his character in the series is unlike any other role that he has played in the past. The actor admitted it was challenging to play the part but also satisfying to be part of India's first war-room-focused web show, which has been inspired by real life and shook the nation.

Recalling the challenges faced during a particular schedule of Ranneeti, Jimmy added, "I remember a specially difficult schedule when the entire unit worked for 48 hours with no breaks but not a single cast member complained. We were on no sleep but the adrenaline rush kept us going, and how! It felt like we were right there in the middle of all the action."
Meanwhile, Lara Dutta also spoke about being a part of Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond. The actress said, "When you work with a brilliant team like that of Ranneeti, you grow tremendously as an actor with every single scene and dialogue delivery."
The series will be released on JioCinema on April 25, 2024.
