With Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway's opening weekend performance, Rani Mukerji has shattered the myth that content movies are just for OTT. The film has made a total of Rs. 6.42 crore nett in its first three days of release in India (Friday: Rs. 1.27 crore; Saturday: Rs. 2.26 crore; Sunday: Rs. 2.89 crore). Its third day saw a huge 300% increase from the first day, showing how popular the movie is.

Rani said in a statement that she couldn't say how happy she is to see how the audience responds to the movie because they have given it so much support. The actor has always thought that a good movie would always connect with viewers, and they would go to the cinema to enjoy an uplifting experience.

She continued by saying that she is happy that Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway is demonstrating to them th at in a post-pandemic world, a content film can be shown in theatres. In her opinion, the film business should concentrate more on creating heartfelt stories than on determining which genres will succeed or fail on the big screen. If they make a good movie, there will always be people who want to go to the theatre to watch it with other people and have a unique experience.

Rani believes that today's audiences will only go to a movie if they are certain of having an extraordinary time. She added that they want to enjoy and share experiences as a society. Thus, the actor has never thought that, following the pandemic, people are abandoning theaters. They only want to see innovative, disruptive, and interesting content that will compel them to spend their time and money on it.

The Mardaani actor went on to say that it's fantastic that it did since they ought to have been concentrating on producing the finest content for audiences all along. A good movie will always find a viewership. With the grace of God, Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway has a following. The rece ption to the movie has been unmatched, and people are showing it a lot of love.
