Naga Shaurya's new movie, Rangabali came out on July 7, 2023, after a lot of controversial promotions. The makers took a dig at various media heads in the promotions to create awareness about the film. But sadly, a lot of people didn't like it, and this created a small controversy during the release time.

All this gave good hype and the film opened to strong occupancy on day one. But as word of mouth was bad, the film fell flat at the box office. Netflix bought the rights to Rangabali and the film will be available for streaming from August 4, 2023.

Well, the romantic drama is coming out on OTT even one month after its release. The word is that as the makers got a lucrative offer from the streaming giant, the makers okayed an early release. The audience really liked the first half of the movie, but they didn't like the second part at all. This made a lot of people unhappy and the film flopped in no time.

But one of the sources from the unit says that the audience will love the film when it comes to OTT as there is no hype on the film. He also reveals that the makers have added a few extra comedy scenes which were deleted from the big screen version.

Rangabali is about a key area in Andhra and has a tragic past related to the main leads in the film. Yukti Thareja made her debut with this film and she was appreciated for her role. Sarath Kumar had a small role in this film which was directed by Pawan Basamasetti.

On the other hand, the flop streak continues for Naga Shaurya as his last few films have only flopped at the box office. He was seen in a very energetic role in Rangabali but as the execution was weak, he could not do much about the outcome of the film. We need to see how well the film does in its OTT screening on Netflix.
