Amidst a sea of commercial films and thrillers, Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga, the family entertainer starring Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Ketika Sharma, promises to be a breath of fresh air. The film written and directed by Gireeshaaya is bankrolled by Bvsn Prasad under Sree Venkateswara Cine Chitra. Devi Sri Prasad scores the music for the film which is all set to hit theatres on September 2. The film's theatrical trailer was released today.

The trailer takes off on a wacky note with a young boy and a girl in their teens slapping each other and refusing to talk until the other person comes forward to apologises. Vaisshnav and Ketika play the elder version of the characters, who study in the same medical college and are neighbours as well. Despite multiple opportunities to strike a conversation, the awkwardness and the 'tu tu main main' episodes between the duo continue. What brings them together again?

Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga is a family entertainer with all the ingredients in the right measure including a blend of family emotions, romance, humour and an element of action too. Vaisshnav appears more agile and easy-going as a performer this time and Ketika is a good match to his on-screen energy, playing the role of a headstrong girl. Prabhu, Naveen Chandra, Sri Lakshmi, Satya Akkala, Rajkumar Kasireddy and Tulasi form the supporting cast.

Shamdat Sainudeen, the cinematographer of Uppena, is cranking the camera for this film as well. Three songs - Kothaga Ledhenti, Telusa Telusa, Siri Siri Muvvallona - in addition to the teaser have already received impressive responses. Going by the casting, trailer and the music, Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga has all the makings of a crowdpuller. Gireeshaaya, the director who debuted with Arjun Varma in Tamil earlier, is a former assistant to Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
