Ranbir Kapoor’s new pic with a chimp has the internet guessing

The actor’s photo with a chimpanzee went viral on the internet on Friday

Father-to-be Ranbir Kapoor was recently spotted twinning in black with his wife Alia Bhat. The couple and mother Neetu Kapoor were papped as they headed out for a dinner on Wednesday night. Ranbir is spotted holding Alia’s hand and carefully helping her walk down the stairs. The actor who is rumoured to be on his paternity break after the success of his film Brahmastra left his fans guessing as his fan clubs posted a series of photos of Ranbir.

Set in the same background – a shabby shack in the woods – one of the photos has a chimpanzee by the actor’s side. Dressed in an olive green shirt and pants with a pair of rugged boots, the actor seems on a safari.

Hours later, it was revealed that the photos are BTS of a shoot of a fruit drink commercial. In the ad, the actor encounters the chimp who is on the lookout for some food at the wooden shack. The actor is then seen pacifying the beast with the bottled drink.

Ranbir is expecting a baby from his wife Alia. The duo has recently worked together in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. The film is still running in theatres. Along with the duo, the film also features Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, and others. The film has already minted ₹450 crore at the global box office and is the highest-grossing film in India in the year.
