Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal performance gets a thumbs up from father-in-law Mahesh Bhatt, who calls him a ‘unique Bollywood creature’

One will have to sit down and dissect everything that has happened with the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal, which has been running successfully in theatres for close to a month now. The movie has broken records, set new ones, and is busy not just crossing but creating milestones through its theatrical run. It is one of the most successful Bollywood movies at this point, and it isn’t even close to ending its theatrical run. But what made this possible is a significant question because many have labelled the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer misogynistic and problematic for its story and theme.

Mahesh Bhatt added depth to the film and made ‘the animal live throb and pulse with the primal beat of life.” He even went on to comment on Ranbir and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s collaboration, calling the partnership an "unprecedented and unapologetic cinematic journey."
