Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal is finally out of the list of the most loved theatrical releases on OTT. The film was on the list unveiled by Ormax Media week-after-week, till now. This week, i.e. in the week of April 5-11, Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter and Shahid Kapoor’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya have come to rule over the list.

Animal out

Ranbir Kapoor-led Animal (also featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri) is finally out of the list. The movie directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga had some contrasting opinions but surely opened up a debate on the internet, much like his previous release(s) Kabir Singh (starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani) and the original film Arjun Reddy (featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey). This week, while Hrithik and Shahid’s movies are on the list, another film, Hanu-Man, is the second most loved.

Fighter most loved

Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone’s Fighter which released on Netflix recently, is the most loved theatrical film on OTT this week. The movie helmed by Pathaan director Siddharth Anand also starred Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role. Fighter had a fair run at the Box Office but is a hit on OTT.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya replaces Animal

Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, a romantic-comedy about a relationship and literal marriage between a robot and the scientist who created the robot, was recently out on Amazon Prime Video. The film worked at the Box Office (and is still in theatres in some places). So, undoubtedly, TBMAUJ is a hit even on OTT. However, it looks like the film will take some more time to catch up on the web. It has however managed to overthrow Animal from the list after all this while and that means something.
