Ranbir Kapoor wishes Hey Sinamika team, says he’s a big fan of Dulquer’s work and admires him as an actor

The Bollywood star wished the team of Brinda’s debut directorial the best, ahead of the film’s song release on February 10

Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor had a special message for the team of choreographer-turned-filmmaker Brinda’s debut directorial Hey Sinamika, which has Dulquer Salmaan, Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead.

Dulquer shared the video on of the Brahmastra wishing the team the all the best ahead of the film’s song release on February 10. In the video, Ranbir said that he’s a huge fan of the Malayalam star and “admire him as an actor”. The Malayalam thanked Ranbir for his kinds words, and replied that he has “always been the biggest fan and cannot wait for Bhramastra”.

Ranbir also went on to laud his Rockstar co-actor Aditi, who he said is a fine actor and a “beautiful person”. He also said that he hoped to work with Kajal soon. He kept his best praise for the movie’s director Brinda. “I have had the good fortune to work with her on so various songs and have so much love and respect for her and her brilliant work,” he said.

Brinda has also choreographed for Ranbir and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming big budget movie Brahmastra, which is set to hit theatres later this year. Incidentally, the team of Hey Sinamika will also be releasing a video of Alia ahead of the song Megham’s release today.

Hey Sinamika, which is set to hit theatres on March 3, is touted to be a romcom that has Govind Vasantha as its music director. The team has already released two songs from the movie – a peppy rap track Achamillai that is rendered by Dulquer and a romantic track Thozhi, sung by Pradeep Kumar.

The film, which completed shoot in December 2020, is scripted by Madhan Karky and is Dulquer’s third venture in Tamil, after OK Kanmani and Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal.
