Today was a glorious day for the fans of Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor. Later in the day, the highly anticipated trailer of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna was unveiled. Within minutes of the trailer premiere, the splendid response took the internet by storm. Now another adorable moment is making fans go gaga over Ranbir’s fatherhood persona after he appeared on Sony TV’s Indian Idol 14.
Ranbir Kapoor mesmerized by a contestant on Indian Idol
Ranbir Kapoor will be gracing the upcoming Shaandaar Parivaar special episode of the singing reality show Indian Idol with his Animal costar Rashmika Mandanna. In a short clip shared by the makers of Sony Entertainment on social media, Ranbir Kapoor is seen inspired and awed by a performer.
In the clip, Ranbir Kapoor congratulated the entire team on the successful fourteenth season of the hit singing show. One special contestant, Menuka Poudel, who is a visually impaired singer won the Sanju actor’s heart. She sang one of Kapoor’s movie songs, “Agar Tum Sath Ho” from the Tamasha movie. Menuka’s soulful voice intrigued everyone on the show, from judges Shreya Ghoshal, Kumar Sanu, and Vishal Dadlani to the guest stars, Ranbir and Rashmika, her melodious song won a standing ovation.
Ranbir Kapoor reveals his baby playlist
After the musical performance, the rockstar actor went to the stage to seek blessings and also congratulated the contestant. He even called her a Devi No. 2 just like Shreya Ghoshal for their extraordinary talent.
The joyful moment comes when Menuka makes a cute request. She says in Hindi, “I’ve heard you’re very handsome and cute, even your daughter is similarly very cute. So I want to ask which two songs you sing while spending time with her.”

What comes next will leave you adoring the superstar even more. The 41-year-old actor and father said, “There are two songs. One of them is a bit irritating English song called Baby Shark because babies love that song and the second song is Lalla Lalla Lori.” The show’s female judge Shreya Ghoshal expressed her surprise after hearing these kinds of songs from him. She said, “I’m astonished to hear such songs from Ranbir. But here we relate, because it’s either Raha or Devyaan, for kids our playlists get changed.” She even joked about hearing baby songs while asleep.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, is slated for a December 1 release date.
