Actor Rana Daggubati has made a grand debut at the San Diego Comic-Con 2023 by announcing a slate of new web series and movies inspired by Indian mythology. The actor-producer, Rana Daggubati, will be bringing some of the beloved and celebrated mythological stories to both small and big screens.
"We are thrilled to make our first appearance at Comic-Con, where the spirit of storytelling and fandom converge. We want to captivate audiences worldwide by bringing them stories that transcend boundaries and ignite the imagination. Comic-Con serves as the perfect platform to share our vision and connect with the passionate film and comic enthusiasts who inspire us," said Rana Daggubati in a press release.

Rana Daggubati's entertainment company Spirit Media will produce web series and movies in association with Amar Chitra Katha. Rana will also play the demon king Hiranyakashyap in a mythological movie. And he has roped in renowned writer-director Trivikram to work on the script.
“I am honoured to share this story of timeless legends for audiences today. The meticulous process of crafting this captivating narrative has already commenced, and we eagerly await the opportunity to translate this excitement onto the big screen," said Trivikram in a statement.
Rana will also produce Lords of the Deccan, a historical web series. "This series takes us back in time to witness the birth of the Chalukyas, a dynasty that shaped southern India for centuries and will keep you riveted and enthralled," said the producers in a media release.
Lords of the Deccan will be produced in collaboration with SonyLIV.
Besides this exciting slate of movies and shows, Rana is also associated with the upcoming big-budget sci-fi movie Project K. Spirit Media is the international marketing and distribution partner of Project K. Rana was seen chilling with his friend and Baahubali co-star Prabhas on the streets of Hollywood as they gear up to launch the first glimpse of Project K at the San Diego Comic-Con.
