Kannada film producer Vikhyath A.R. had recently teased a new project which, he said, would be announced on September 10. Not many knew what he was referring to but the tagline of 'Dream of a decade' caught the attention of everyone who looked forward to what he had in store.

Turns out, September 10 was chosen as the opportune moment because he wanted to share the special update on veteran actor Ramesh Aravind's 59th birthday. Having produced three films in the past, Vikhyath AR is now set to make his debut as a director and his dream venture will feature Ramesh Aravind himself, but he is not the star to headline this rather intriguing project.

Vikhyath AR to bring Golden Star Ganesh and Ramesh Aravind together

Many would recall another poster that the producer had shared a couple of months ago which featured Golden Star Ganesh as a performer of some kind. Ganesh, in the poster, stood behind the vast curtains of a stage as a crowd awaited him and although the image doesn't fully reveal this, one gathers that he is wearing a clown/jester's costume. The poster also carried the tagline 'The greatest show never ever seen'.

It now comes to the fore that Vikhyath AR was referring to his own directorial all along, whose poster he unveiled a short while ago today (September 10).

The title of the project still remains undisclosed but what's exciting, though, is to know that Ramesh Aravind and Golden Star Ganesh will be seen in a film together. The same poster suggests that they both play 'entertainers' in the film but what's more intriguing is the setting. We see both Ganesh and Ramesh Aravind as part of a large army/military unit of an undisclosed foreign country but while the rest of them wear their conventional uniforms, the two actors are evidently out of place with their choices of clothing.

In other developments, it emerged earlier today that Ramesh Aravind will soon reunite with his Shivaji Surathkal director Akash Srivatsa for their third collaboration. Titled 'Daiji', the film promises to feature the veteran actor in a never-before-seen role and the first-look poster, which was launched earlier today, reveals just that. Daiji will be produced by Ravi Kashyap under the Vibha Kashyap Productions banner and is said to belong to the mystery/horror genre.
