Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and noted filmmaker Joshiy are joining forces for their upcoming movie Rambaan. Mohanlal took to his social media handles to reveal the title poster. Sharing the exciting news with his fans, the actor wrote, “I’m thrilled to introduce #Rambaan, my upcoming movie, directed by the esteemed Joshiy and produced by Chemban Vinod Jose, Einstin Zac Paul, and Shailesh R. Your support means the world to us”. Shooting for the film is scheduled to commence mid-2024, with an expected release in 2025.
Rambaan’s crew
The action-packed film’s screenplay is written by Chemban Vinod Jose. Cinematographer Sameer Thahir will be handling the camera work, and editing will be carried out by Vivek Harshan, who has previously worked on projects such as Kurup, Mahaan and Bheeshma Parvam. Music for the film is composed by Vishnu Vijay, who is known for his previous works in Ambili and Thallumaala. The costumes are designed by Mashar Hamsa, who has formerly been associated with films like Romancham and Thallumala.

Joshiy’s next sports action drama Antony, featuring Joju George and Kalyani Priyadarshan, is all set to hit the theatres on November 17.

Mohanlal’s highly anticipated Lijo Jose Pellissery-helmed period action drama, Malaikottai Vaaliban , will grace the big screen on January 25, 2024. The actor’s next film L2: Empuraan, directed by actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran, which is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster movie Lucifer, has recently wrapped up its first schedule.
