Sai Pallavi Reacts To Rumours About Turning Vegetarian For Ramayana

The buzz surrounding Ramayana Part 1 and Part 2 directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is immense as it promises to be one of the biggest cinematic spectacles of the decade. Although the first part is still two years away from its release, the movie has been a hot topic ever since its inception when it was merely a rumor. It was later revealed that Tiwari had cast Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Lord Ram and Mata Sita, respectively. Divided into two parts, Ramayana has consistently made headlines, with one rumor claiming that Ranbir and Sai had turned vegetarian to prepare for their roles. This particular rumor has now reached Sai Pallavi, who is clearly unhappy and has strongly reacted, warning of potential legal action.

Sai Pallavi Reacts to Rumors of Turning Vegetarian for Ramayana

For the uninitiated, reports surfaced a few days ago claiming that Sai Pallavi, portraying Mata Sita in Ramayana had adopted a vegetarian diet for her role. These reports further alleged that she had a dedicated team of cooks traveling with her to prepare vegetarian meals daily. Until now, there had been no confirmation or denial from the actor or the film’s makers. However, Sai Pallavi has finally broken her silence, issuing a strong response to shut down the rumors.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Sai Pallavi expressed her displeasure with outlets spreading false claims about her and the projects she is working on. She stated that while she often chooses to stay silent, this time she felt the need to address the issue.

“Most of the time—almost every time—I choose to stay silent whenever I see baseless rumors, fabricated lies, or incorrect statements being spread with or without motives (God knows why),” Sai Pallavi wrote.

She further added, “But it’s high time that I react as this keeps happening consistently and doesn’t seem to cease, especially around the time of my films’ releases, announcements, or cherishable moments in my career! Next time I see any ‘reputed’ page, media outlet, or individual carrying a cooked-up, crappy story in the name of news or gossip, you will hear from me legally! Period!”
