Ramayana adaptation here by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor with Sai Pallavi has reportedly gone of floors on April 2.
Nothing can be compared to the buzz that Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana adaptation has made as it is reportedly in production as we speak. The movie which stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Mata Sita has become one of the most anticipated movies in the country for various reasons. The team that has been preparing for months for the shoot has finally gone on floors with the film on April 2 as per reports, and that has to be the most exciting thing for the fans of the artists involved in making the film.
While the reports last week spoke of sets being erected at Mumbai’s Film City and how the team Ramayana was all set to shoot on the same, the latest report now talks about the leaked images.
Well, you have read that just right. Not even a week from the production commencement, the first footage from the sets of Ramayana has made it to the internet and it is too good in quality to ignore. A couple of visuals and videos landed on the internet and have been going viral since the time it got on Twitter. Reports had that Nitesh Tiwari is going on floors to shoot the first sequence of the movie. He will be filming the Gurukul part of the movie where Ram, Laxman, and Bharat are still children. Turns out the pictures from allegedly the Gurukul sets have now made it to the internet.
The pictures landed on Twitter and feature a set that is massive. Huge gothic pillars, a vibrant green garden, and massive blue screens for CGI and VFX in the first video can be seen in the video that is making rounds. One can even see many people from the production team carrying out various jobs. There is no confirmation whether this is actually from the sets of Ramayana or not. The beautiful carvings on the pillars and platforms are indeed here to grab our attention.
Additionally, another glimpse from a wider angle was also leaked and it showed us a blurry glimpse of a series of aforementioned pillars like a pathway around a garden. The sets seem fascinating because the scale of the Ramayana seems massive and very beautiful. Check out the stills and videos right below.
The film alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi also stars Yash as Ravana, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Bobby Deol as Kumbhakaran, and reports have also claimed that Amitabh Bachchan has been approached to play King Dashrath. There are reports that Ranbir Kapoor has gone to LA for the final body scan for the visual effects. The Animal star is not a part of the first schedule of the movie and will join the team in mid-April.
