Ever since Ramayana has been announced, the magnum-opus has made massive headlines time-to-time. From revealing the ensemble star-cast, release date, storyline, A-list music composers, to KGF-star Yash’s joining as a co-producer, everything has been a rollercoaster experience for netizens. Ramayana is definitely going to be one of the most influential magnum-opuses in the Indian film industry.
Hence, we couldn't keep it a secret anymore that producer Namit Malhotra, the founder of Prime Focus Studios, is currently in talks with Hollywood production house, Warner Bros. to give the film a global recognition by joining hands for a mega partnership, extending to all 3-parts of Ramayana. A source revealed to Pinkvilla that Ramayana is the most ambitious project in Indian cinema. Therefore, the whole team is trying their level best to make it as big as possible, for not only the Indian audiences, but also to give it a global recognition.

The source stated that each one of the cast members are eagerly waiting to represent our Indian tradition, culture, mythology to the whole world. Ramayana’s budget has not been fixed yet, as it's still getting bigger and bigger. They also disclosed that Namit Malhotra is not only trying to get financial help from the Hollywood giant, but also trying to fix the global distribution at the international market. Ramayana is going to be the first film ever that is 100% made-in-India, which will dominate the global market.
We have already informed you that apart from being as a cast member, KGF-star Yash also joined hand with Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari as a co-producer. However, Ramayana has already gone on floor, and the whole cast members - Arun Govil, Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, Sheeba Chhabra and Ravi Dubey will soon begin the shooting.
We also disclosed surprising news about Ramayana in the morning today that Ranbir Kapoor has refused to have any CGI or VFX for his character as Lord Rama. The 41-year-old actor is trying his level best to make his portrayal as real as possible. Previously the Animal-star was seen preparing his body by doing arch and aerial workouts.
Although exact date has not been confirmed, Ramayana is expected to release in 2025.
