Ravi Teja will channel yet another heroic avatar for his next film, Ramarao On Duty, which is gearing up for a release soon. As promised, the makers have unveiled the film’s teaser today and it gives a glimpse of the action-packed ride in store.
The short teaser, just over a minute and a half long, was unveiled by the film’s production banner SLV Cinemas on their official social media handles. It introduces Teja as Deputy Collector B Ramarao, a fierce crusader for justice and protector of innocents. As the clip progresses, Ramarao is shown as a person who is willing to go to any lengths in the name of justice, but is also sensitive about the poor and downtrodden. His fierce action prowess also comes into play, as he faces down a man armed with a blade and in another scene, he is seen throwing a lathi against a bad guy from a distance.

In addition to Teja starring as the titular protagonist, the upcoming film also features Divyansha Kaushik and Rajisha Vijayan in crucial roles. The film marks Teja’s 68th project.
Sarath Mandava has written and directed the action film, which is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas. The film has music composed by Sam CS, while its cinematography and editing have been handled by Sathyan Sooryan and Praveen KL respectively.
Ramarao On Duty will release either on March 25 or April 15. The makers are yet to lock in on a release date.
Meanwhile, Teja, who was last seen in Ramesh Varma’s Khiladi, is currently keeping busy, working on his upcoming releases. The star’s upcoming projects include Dhamaka, Ravanasura and Tiger Nageswara Rao, directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, Sudheer Varma and Vamsi Krishna, respectively.
