Ravi Teja’s action thriller Ramarao On Duty directed by first-time filmmaker Sarath Mandava is gearing up for a theatrical release on March 25. The film is bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas LLP in collaboration with Ravi Teja's home banner RT Teamworks. The thriller is in its last leg of shoot and the team will start filming a song at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad from today.

Commemorating the lead actor Ravi Teja's birthday, the makers have released a new poster. Ravi Teja looks intense and appears in a angry-young man avatar in the captivating poster. While the character Rama Rao is spotted with his wife in one part of the image, his family finds place in another section of the poster.

There are also glimpses of Ravi Teja busily working in his office, besides his appearance in a full-on action-mode. The other image within the still also highlights a moving train. The poster suggests Ramarao On Duty is a man of many hues and has several dimensions to his life. Divyansha Koushik and Rajisha Vijayan are cast as the female leads in the film that also features Venu Thottempudi in a key role.

The supporting cast comprises Nasser, Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh, ‘Sarpatta’ John Vijay, Chaitanya Krishna, Tanikella Bharani, Rahul Ramakrishna, Eerojullo Sree, Madhu Sudan Rao and Surekha Vani, to name a few. Sam CS is scoring the music for the thriller for which Sathyan Sooryan ISC is the cinematographer and Praveen KL is the editor. Ramarao on Duty is inspired from true incidents.
