Helmed by Prabhu Deva, Ramaiyya Vastavaiyya is available for streaming on ZEE5. The romantic drama revolves around Ram, a rich city boy, who falls in love with Sona, a simple girl from the village. When Ram approaches Sona's brother, Sonu Sood, he puts a condition that Ram should fulfill to marry the love of his life. Besides, Shruti Haasan, Girish Kumar, and Sonu Sood, the film also stars Randhir Kapoor, Govind Namdeo, Poonam Dhillon, Anchal Singh, Vinod Khanna, Satish Shah, among others. The film was produced by Kumar S. Taurani, under Tips Industries. The film is a remake of Prabhudeva's directorial debut film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.
The film also has a special song Jaadu Ki Jhappi De De Tu Abhi by Jacqueline Fernandez and Prabhu Deva. Speaking about the song, in an old interview, Girish had said that he was scared of Prabhu Deva, He was quoted as saying, “I was not going to do the song… Prabhu sir told me to do it. I was scared to do the song with him. It’s a challenge to match up to him. I got trained, it was good to work with him.”
