Ram Setu is likely to cross the Rs. 30 crore mark on the third day of its release.
Ram Setu had a respectable second day, bringing its two-day total to roughly Rs. 26 crore nett and earning around Rs. 11 crore nett. Day two saw a drop of about 25%, which is typical. A report from Box Office India said that the holiday of Diwali had almost no effect on how many people went to see the movie in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
The difference is that the movie is performing well in the Hindi circuit, despite the fact that it has seen the same decline as Thank God. When compared to other regions, Rajasthan and CI made Rs. 93 lakhs and Rs. 56 lakhs nett, respectively, which are good collections as most films have not been able to acquire similar collections on day one. Gujarat/Saurashtra was again Rs. 2.25 crore nett, like on day one.
Though it was always doubtful because it did not appeal to urban youth, the movie was not as excellent as in metro areas where it had performed worse on the second day. As the holiday effect wears off over the next two days, there will be further declines, and on Saturday or Sunday, the objective will return to double digits.
Tuesday - Rs. 15 crore
Wednesday - Rs. 11 crore
TOTAL - Rs. 26 crore
The production numbers show that Ram Setu made Rs. 11.40 crore on Wednesday, bringing its total earnings to Rs. 26.65 crore.
In Ram Setu Akshay Kumar plays an atheist archaeologist who later becomes a believer. He is in a race against time to prove that the mythical Ram Setu really existed before evil forces destroy this important part of India's history. Ram Setu is a movie about action and adventure with a lot of twists and turns.
The action-adventure thriller also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Satya Dev in pivotal roles. The film clashed with Thank God at the box office on Diwali day.
