Fans, for obvious reasons, want the duo to collaborate at the earliest.
Prashanth Neel has been proactively seeking out Telugu projects in the recent past and his upcoming tentative lineup of films somewhat suggests that he finds the Telugu Film Industry to be quite conducive. It could be the fact that the industry, collectively, is known to support large canvas ideas and has proven its mettle over the years as the right place for big ideas. On top of that, the success of films such as the Baahubali series, Pushpa: The Rise and RRR has helped actors like Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Prabhas gain prominence among Hindi moviegoers, which further enables Telugu film producers to make big-scale movies and distribute them widely.
Neel is meant to work with Jr NTR on one such massive project which is scheduled to go on floors in March 2024. The untitled project (NTR 31) will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers and fans are extremely thrilled and excited about the prospects.
In the past, the Salaar director has also been spotted meeting other Telugu superstars like Allu Arjun and Ram Charan and these interactions triggered several speculations. In the case of the latter, one is aware of the fact that Neel and Ram Charan have met multiple times over the years and rumours have been simmering for quite some time concerning a potential collaboration. Titles like Ravanam and others crop up in this vein but there is no certainty whether a collaboration between the two is on the cards as of yet.

Fans, however, are quite certain that they want to see Ram Charan in a Prashanth Neel movie. When the former wished the KGF 2 maker on his birthday on Sunday, June 4, social media users could not help but urge the 'Game Changer' actor to make an 'announcement' at the earliest. Most of them seemed convinced that a collaboration is in the works and even supposed that RC 17 or RC 18 could have Prashanth Neel at the helm. A few, though excited, wondered how Neel would be able to squeeze the rumoured Ram Charan project into his current exceptionally tight schedule.
Well, considering that Prashanth Neel has a knack to deliver big spectacles featuring top-league actors, there is always a good chance that Ram Charan would come on board at some point. It's only a matter of time, and patience, for fans who are ardently wishing that the two parties get together at some point - maybe sooner than later! More updates to follow.
