Ram Charan finally wrapped up the shooting of Game Changer, the upcoming political-action thriller directed by Shankar. The actor also dropped a major update on the film’s release date.
Ram Charan is teaming up with Indian 2 director Shankar for his next outing in Telugu cinema. The movie titled Game Changer, started rolling in 2021 and was supposed to hit the theatres in 2022. However, the political-action thriller was delayed indefinitely due to Shankar’s busy schedule. Now, after a long wait, Ram Charan has finally wrapped up the shooting of Game Changer. The Telugu superstar recently confirmed the reports with a new update on his social media handles.
The popular Telugu actor recently took to his official social media handles and shared a collage of two shooting stills from the Game Changer location. “The GAME is about to CHANGE! #GAMECHANGER That’s a wrap! See you at the cinemas,” reads Ram Charan’s Instagram post. With the new update, the leading man also confirmed that the Shankar directorial is gearing up for a grand theatrical release, shortly. The RRR star’s post came out as a big relief for his fans, who have been unhappy with the film’s long delay.

Meanwhile, Sri Venkateswara Creations, the production banner headed by Dil Raju that bankrolls the film, took to their official social media handles and shared a special post, with an exciting announcement. “It’s been a MEGA POWER PACKED journey from the first day of shooting to the last for our #GameChanger @AlwaysRamCharan It’s a wrap. Bringing you some Blistering Updates soon,” reads the social media post of the banner. So, it is now confirmed that the team is planning to reveal the Game Changer release date and more updates on the film, soon.

As reported earlier, Game Changer has a high chance of hitting the big screens in December 2024. The Ram Charan starrer is expected to get a pan-Indian release in three languages, including Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Kiara Advani is playing the female lead in the Shankar film, which stars SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Anjali, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Sunil, Nassar, and others in the supporting roles. S Thaman has composed the songs and original score for the film.
