Adding to the excitement surrounding Ram Charan's RC 17, producer SS Karthikeya, son of filmmaker SS Rajamouli, has raised the hype.
Telugu superstar Ram Charan recently announced his next film, to be directed by Sukumar of Pushpa fame. Temporarily titled RC 17, the film will mark the second collaboration between the actor-director duo after their 2018 blockbuster Rangasthalam .
Adding to the excitement, producer SS Karthikeya, son of filmmaker SS Rajamouli, has raised the hype. He recalled that Ram Charan discussed the details of the movie's opening scene during the shooting of the climax scene of RRR. Karthikeya claimed he was blown away by Charan's narration and is convinced that the scene will go down in the history of Indian cinema as "one of the most iconic sequences."

"I think during the climax shoot of RRR, he just randomly opened up about doing a film with Sukumar garu and started talking about the opening sequence of the film. For almost 5 minutes, my mind was blown. Ever since he mentioned it, I've been waiting for the film to be announced. Imagining it as a blockbuster already, it will become one of the iconic sequences. I hope I won't leak much about it, brother," said Karthikeya.
It's noteworthy that Rajamouli also echoed the same sentiments during the promotions of RRR. "I have a spoiler there. I know the opening sequence of Sukumar's and Ram Charan's film. Obviously, I will not reveal it...Sukumar will have a heart attack. But, that would be the most hard-hitting scenes. Audiences will quiver in their seats when they watch that scene," Rajamouli had revealed earlier.

Well, we will have to wait for a significantly long time before we can experience the same thrill as Rajamouli and Karthikeya did while hearing about RC 17's opening scene.
Ram Charan is now busy shooting for director Shankar's Game Changer. Following this project, he will join the sets oof RC 16, written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
In the meantime, Sukumar is bust shooting Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun in the lead. The film is due in cinemas on August 15.
