Ram Charan and NTR Jr. NOT to perform live at the Oscars, as per report

Ever since the time filmmaker SS Rajamouli had announced the film ‘RRR’, it had been making news for all the right reasons. After the film got released, it went on to not just create new records, but also managed to be a tornado at the boxoffice. The magic of ‘RRR’ just did not stop at that. Just a few months earlier, the film's smash hit track 'Naatu Naatu' went on to become the proud recipient of the prestigious Golden Globe award.

Appreciations and congratulations poured in from all over, including India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who called the win "A very special accomplishment!" and congratulated the entire team of ‘RRR’ by stating that, "This prestigious honour has made every Indian very proud". After this proud win, all eyes are now trained on the upcoming Oscar Awards which is scheduled to happen on March 13 this year.

Speaking of ‘RRR’ and Oscars, it was being widely speculated that Ram Charan and NTR Jr- the two main leads of the film (on whom the hit song had been picturised) will be performing live at the Oscars. The latest update on the same is that, MM Keeravani (the composer of ‘Naatu Naatu’) has confirmed that Ram Charan and NTR Jr won't be performing at the Oscars, as per a report in Bollywood Hungama.
The same report stated MM Keervani telling Bollywood Hungama that all of the speculations were a manifestation of the people’s love for the film ‘RRR’ and the song ‘Naatu Naatu’. He added that there were many myths which were being woven around the song, which was not a bad thing at all.
While MM Keervani confirmed to the portal that, while the two singers of ‘Naatu Naatu’ - Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava will be performing live at the Oscars ceremony, he put to rest all the speculations about Ram Charan and NTR Jr to perform to the song live at the Oscars.
